GIC-mapWelcome and thank you for your interest in the Grand Isle County Sheriff’s Department Website. Grand Isle County is located in the northwest corner of Vermont with 5 towns spanning 85 square miles of land and over 100 square miles of water. We provide primary law enforcement services to all towns in the county, which is the only county in Vermont that can claim entire county support.

We have a great working relationship with Local, State and Federal Agencies. As our mission states, “we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Grand Isle County by working to provide safety, security and service while upholding the laws of this state and the constitutional responsibilities of the office of Sheriff. We will strive to build upon the confidence and trust the citizens of Grand Isle County have placed upon us by developing strong relationships with the community and providing high quality, cost effective law enforcement services.”

In order to assure that we are staying true to our mission, please contact me with any comments, concerns, questions, or praise relative to our responses to your calls, as well as suggestions or requests to improve our service. We will do whatever we can to assist you.
